Attendance at the 2024 Urban Gas Industry New Year's Meeting
Choi Nam-ho, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, stated on the 18th, "Please ensure the smooth supply and safety management of city gas during this winter season as well."
On this day, Vice Minister Choi made these remarks while attending the 2024 New Year's Meeting of the City Gas Industry hosted by the Korea City Gas Association.

This New Year's Meeting was attended by more than 60 people, including the chairman of the City Gas Association, representatives of 26 city gas companies, the president of the Gas Safety Corporation, and heads of related organizations, who exchanged New Year's greetings for the Year of the Rabbit and pledged new growth through change and innovation in the city gas industry.
In his congratulatory speech, Vice Minister Choi said, "As of the end of last year, the number of city gas users exceeded 20 million households, meaning that the entire nation is enjoying the benefits of convenient and safe city gas. We will continue active communication and cooperation with the city gas industry along with the Korea Gas Corporation to ensure that the government's winter support measures, such as heating cost assistance for vulnerable groups, are smoothly implemented on the ground."
Song Jae-ho, president of the association, said in his greeting, "The city gas industry plans to actively respond to changes in the domestic energy industry to seek development and growth of the industry, while cooperating with government policies and continuing to improve services for city gas users and social contribution projects."
