Increase Website Accessibility Through Demand Analysis
Gyeonggi-do Icheon City announced that it was selected as an excellent institution in the '2023 Comprehensive Information Disclosure Evaluation' hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety. Icheon City was selected as an excellent institution for two consecutive years, following last year.
The Comprehensive Information Disclosure Evaluation assesses the operation status of information disclosure to ensure the reliability of the information disclosure system and to enhance the disclosure obligations of public institutions. The Ministry of the Interior and Safety conducts this evaluation annually on a total of 550 institutions, including central administrative agencies, local governments, and public institutions.
In this evaluation, Icheon City received a score of 88.66, higher than the average score of 83.55 for urgent basic local governments, across 12 indicators in four areas: prior information, original document disclosure, request processing, and customer management.
The city added that it received high scores particularly in the customer evaluation area by improving accessibility on the homepage through customer demand analysis.
Kim Kyung-hee, Mayor of Icheon City, said, "Based on the results of this comprehensive information disclosure evaluation, we will improve areas that need effort and strive to become a trusted Icheon City through transparent and proactive information disclosure."
