Namyang Dairy Products announced on the 18th that it will hold the 2nd Takefit Snowboard Competition at Monapark Yongpyong Resort in Pyeongchang, Gangwon Province, on the 20th and 21st.
Organized by the Korea Professional Snowboard Association and sponsored by Namyang Dairy Products' protein brand 'Takefit,' this event features about 800 athletes competing for a total prize of 20 million KRW in parallel giant slalom (PGS) races.
Namyang Dairy Products will produce and provide trendy goods such as beanies and tarpaulin bags to the athletes and promotion participants. Various events, including product sampling, will also be held on-site.
A Namyang Dairy Products representative said, "We have prepared a special event to promote Takefit through snowboarding, a representative winter sport," adding, "We plan to expand consumer touchpoints by linking high-quality products with innovative events in the future."
Previously, Namyang Dairy Products launched the protein brand Takefit in 2022 and has been offering a variety of products tailored to different age groups. Notably, Takefit Max has sold over 16 million packs cumulatively since its launch, maintaining steady growth in the protein beverage market. In addition, the brand focuses on promotion through sports marketing in various fields such as tennis, snowboard competitions, and one-day surfing lessons.
