CJ OliveNetworks announced on the 18th that it has signed a partnership agreement with the e-commerce platform Cafe24 to expand its payment business through payment and marketing services.
Cafe24 is an e-commerce platform company that provides one-stop IT solutions and services for online businesses, from building online stores to marketing, logistics, and delivery. Through this business agreement, they will jointly promote ▲technology and platform development for entering the e-commerce business ▲providing payment and membership services such as CJ Gift Card and CJ ONE to Cafe24 customers ▲developing services linked with platforms such as enterprise messaging services, API Flex, and ComOne solutions ▲activation of intellectual property (IP) and YouTube commerce.
Additionally, they plan to discover and promote sustainable collaboration models and cooperate on customer marketing by utilizing the sales channels owned by both companies.
CJ OliveNetworks provides integrated electronic payment gateway services (PG) called One PG to over 30 various partners based on system operation expertise and security stability. PG is a service that intermediates payments among shopping malls, card companies, and customers during the online shopping process.
With this agreement, more than 2 million online business operators using the Cafe24 platform will be able to use CJ OliveNetworks’ electronic payment gateway service One PG for card payments, account transfers, and more, and it is expected that CJ ONE membership service will also be available in the future.
