Seodaemun-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Seongheon) announced on the 18th that it was selected as the best institution for two consecutive years in the '2023 Comprehensive Information Disclosure Evaluation' hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, following 2022.
The Ministry of the Interior and Safety evaluated the overall performance of information disclosure operations over the past year for 550 institutions nationwide, including central administrative agencies, local governments, and public institutions.
Seodaemun-gu received excellent evaluations in four assessment areas?prior disclosure, full-text disclosure, request processing, and customer management?across 12 indicators, notably achieving a perfect score of 10 in both 'Number of Prior Information Disclosure Registrations' and 'Customer Demand Analysis Performance.'
Seodaemun-gu explained, "We actively disclose information that residents need to promote the right to know," adding, "To this end, we collect residents' opinions and strengthen staff training for proper information disclosure processing."
Mayor Lee Seongheon stated, "In the new year, we will actively operate the information disclosure system through continuous monitoring and improvement of production documents and request processing to realize transparent and trustworthy administration."
