'Strawberry Ddeumdduk Latte' Also Ranks Top 5 in Monthly Sales
Strawberries have become a key product driving winter sales at the coffee specialty store Hollys. On the 18th, Hollys announced that sales of the 'Fresh Strawberry Juice,' launched in December last year, increased by 145% compared to the previous year. Compared to two years ago, the sales growth rate reached 248%. Fresh Strawberry Juice has been the representative drink of Hollys' strawberry season menu since 2018. This season, the flavor and visual appeal were significantly enhanced by adding fresh strawberry toppings.
Known as a ‘strawberry specialty store’ for offering a variety of strawberry menus every winter, Hollys released strawberry menus twice this season, completing a rich lineup of eight items. The strawberry Season 1 menu, launched in December last year, includes five items: ▲Fresh Strawberry Juice ▲Strawberry Latte ▲Strawberry Much Round, among others. The strawberry Season 2 menu, launched in January this year, consists of three items: ▲Strawberry Pistachio Mashitcho ▲Yuja Mint Aurora Tea ▲Pistachio Victoria Cake.
Among these, the menu following the popularity of Fresh Strawberry Juice is the 'Strawberry Latte,' first introduced in 2020. This menu combines smooth milk and tangy strawberries and ranked in the top 5 monthly menu sales in December alongside Fresh Strawberry Juice. Since their launch, the two items, Fresh Strawberry Juice and Strawberry Latte, have sold over 1 million cups cumulatively.
The popularity of the seasonal menu is also notable in cakes. The three strawberry Season 1 cakes?▲Very Very Strawberry Yogurt ▲Strawberry Much Round ▲Strawberry Choco So Sweet Box?ranked first, second, and third respectively in December dessert sales, proving consumers’ strong interest in the strawberry season menu.
