Donation for Supporting Vulnerable Groups and Fostering Local Talent
Ulleung-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, announced that 'Dongdo Remicon' (CEO Bang Dae-sik) visited the Ulleung-gun Office on the 17th and donated 5 million KRW to the 'Hope 2024 Sharing Campaign' through the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea to support vulnerable groups in the area, as well as 20 million KRW in scholarships to the Ulleung-gun Education Development Committee for the advancement of local education and talent cultivation.
The donation ceremony was attended by Nam Han-kwon, the county governor, and Executive Director Lee Jong-dae. The donated funds are planned to be used for neighbors in need within the community, and the scholarships will be used for local students.
Executive Director Lee said, "I hope the donation will be used to help neighbors in difficulty around us, and that it will contribute to the growth of our local students into outstanding talents who will lead regional development in the future."
County Governor Nam Han-kwon expressed his gratitude at the donation ceremony, saying, "Thank you for donating funds and scholarships for marginalized neighbors and local talents. The donated funds will be used to support vulnerable groups in the area, and the scholarships will be carefully used for scholarship projects to nurture talents who will lead Ulleung's future."
