[Breaking] China December Industrial Production Up 6.8%... Retail Sales Up 7.4%

On the 17th, the National Bureau of Statistics of China announced that industrial production in December increased by 6.8% year-on-year. This figure exceeded both the forecast (6.6%) and the previous month's figure (6.6%).

In the same month, retail sales rose by 7.4% year-on-year, falling short of the previous month's figure (10.1%) and the forecast (8.0%).

The unemployment rate in December was 5.1%, slightly worsening compared to the previous month (5.0%).
