Professor Kim Hyesook of Silla University Department of Health Administration Receives Appreciation Plaque from National Health Insurance Service

Professor Kim Hyesook of the Department of Health Administration at Silla University (President Heo Namsik) received a plaque of appreciation from the National Health Insurance Service (Chairman Jeong Giseok).

Professor Kim Hyesook of the Department of Health Administration at Silla University was appointed as a member of the Practical Committee of the Catastrophic Medical Expense Busan Regional Headquarters of the National Health Insurance Service in May 2022. She was honored with a plaque of appreciation from the National Health Insurance Service in recognition of her contributions to the development of the catastrophic medical expense support project and the protection of public health.

Professor Kim said, “I was grateful and felt rewarded just to see many people focusing on treatment and regaining healthy lives after being appointed as a member of the Practical Committee of the Catastrophic Medical Expense Busan Regional Headquarters. It is an honor to receive this plaque of appreciation.” She added, “As a committee member and as a professor in the Department of Health Administration, I will do my best to nurture professional personnel in the field of health administration who can lead the development of the national health insurance sector in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.”

Established in 2009, the Department of Health Administration at Silla University has been dedicated to cultivating experts in the health administration field who hold various qualifications such as Certified Health Information Manager, Health Educator, Hospital Administrator, Health Insurance Specialist, and Insurance Review Evaluator, with the acquisition of the Certified Health Information Manager certification in 2023.
