Dongseo University (President Jang Je-guk) is showing remarkable performance in its overseas employment training project.
On the 16th, Dongseo University announced that it received the highest grade, 'A grade,' in the 2022 Overseas Employment Training Project 'K-Move School Operation Institution Evaluation' hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Human Resources Development Service of Korea. The university has secured the A grade for six consecutive years from 2017 to 2022.
The Human Resources Development Service of Korea recently announced the results of the 2022 overseas employment training course and operation institution evaluation through the World Job Plus site. This evaluation was conducted on a total of 92 operating institutions and 219 training courses that participated in the 2022 overseas employment training project, and only 13 out of the 92 institutions received an A grade in 2022.
Dongseo University, which has been promoting the overseas employment project for 20 years since 2004, has dispatched over 1,600 students to more than 20 countries. It was the first university nationwide to be selected as a K-Move School operating institution and is currently operating on the largest scale nationwide.
Due to these efforts, the university has received several awards, including the Minister of Education Award in 2013, the Mayor of Busan Award in 2014, the Minister of Employment and Labor Award in 2015, the Prime Minister Award in 2016, the Korea Employment Information Service Director Award in 2019, the Presidential Citation in 2021, and the Minister of Employment and Labor Award in 2023.
Jung Do-woon, Director of the Student Employment Support Office, said, “As a leader in overseas employment, we will actively support students who wish to work abroad so that their dreams can come true.”
