Yogiyo announced on the 16th that it will provide 'Small Business Owner Flood and Windstorm Insurance' free of charge to its partner merchants. Small Business Owner Flood and Windstorm Insurance is a policy that compensates small business owners for actual losses when they suffer property damage due to natural disasters.
Any Yogiyo partner merchant can sign up for free, and if damage occurs to their stores or facilities due to natural disasters after enrollment, they can receive up to 20 million KRW in compensation. The enrollment process is simple. From the 15th of this month until the 29th of next month, merchants can sign up through the Yogiyo Merchant Site, Yogiyo Merchant Portal, or the official KakaoTalk channel.
Starting with this initiative, Yogiyo plans to work harder to improve the low insurance subscription rate among small business owners vulnerable to disasters and to support the expansion of Small Business Owner Flood and Windstorm Insurance.
Kim Sujeong, Head of Yogiyo Merchant Communication Office, said, "We prepared this insurance support to share the burden of small business owners who may face mental and financial difficulties due to unexpected natural disasters," adding, "We will continue to actively seek practical ways to provide assistance and develop various win-win solutions."
