Complained about 'Delivery Completed' text before arrival... "It's coming today, sir, you're impatient"

Controversy Over Harassment and Verbal Abuse by a Delivery Worker
Netizens "Can't Understand the Unjustified Attitude"

A delivery courier caused controversy by sending an abusive message after a customer complained about receiving a delivery completion notification text before the actual delivery. On the 13th, an online community 'Bobaedream' posted a thread titled 'False Delivery and Abusive Language by XX Courier Delivery Staff.' The author, Mr. A, shared his recent experience, saying, "There may be too many deliveries to respond to each one individually, but receiving such a reply makes me very angry."

Complained about 'Delivery Completed' text before arrival... "It's coming today, sir, you're impatient" A delivery driver sent a delivery completion notification text before actually delivering the package, and when the customer complained, the driver left abusive language in the text, causing controversy.

In the post, Mr. A stated that he received a delivery completion text around 2 p.m. on the 12th. However, when he returned home after work, the package was not there. Concerned about possible loss, he called the agency and the delivery courier but could not reach them. The screenshot of the text messages he shared shows that the courier sent a message at 2:56 p.m. on the 12th, stating, "Delivered in front of the door for contactless delivery." Later in the evening, after still not receiving the package, Mr. A replied to the courier saying, "There is nothing in front of the door," but the courier remained silent.

The next day, around 10 a.m. on the 13th, Mr. A called the courier and left a message protesting, "You falsely marked the delivery as complete and are hiding, and the agency is not answering calls. What are you doing?" The courier responded with a shameless attitude, saying, "I will come today. Sir, you are impatient." Mr. A said, "Why do you press 'delivery complete' in advance? At least send a text if so. Impatient? It's ridiculous," adding, "If you are unwell and have a reason to press 'delivery complete' early, please at least send a message."

"It's coming today, sir, you're impatient" One netizen said, "Same-day delivery must be done, so if it goes to the next day, it should be completed first," adding, "It is the hardship of delivery workers due to the large volume of packages."

The reply from the courier was not an apology but an abusive message followed by, "I will never deliver to your house again." Mr. A said, "I am very upset and want to ruin such a person, but I want to handle this wisely so as not to harm other hardworking couriers who deliver diligently in the cold," and added, "I have already filed a complaint with Hanjin Courier." It was reported that the package was delivered on the evening of the same day they exchanged the messages.

Netizens who read the story expressed outrage, commenting, "Because of people like that, the hardworking couriers who quietly do their jobs get insulted," and "I had a similar experience, and they never apologized." On the other hand, a netizen who also works in delivery said, "They have to complete the delivery on the same day, so if it goes to the next day, they process it as complete first," and added, "It reflects the difficulties couriers face with many deliveries."
