KOSDAQ-listed company Eyesvision announced on the 16th that the subscriber base of its MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) brand, Eyesmobile, has grown by 70%.
Eyesmobile officially launched its postpaid MVNO service in 2021, securing 48,000 subscribers. In 2022, it achieved 105,000 subscribers, marking a 120% growth compared to the previous year, and last year it surpassed 180,000 subscribers, continuing its steep growth trajectory.
Eyesmobile's growth has brought significant changes not only in performance improvement but also in customer satisfaction.
In the 'Overall Customer Satisfaction by MVNO Carriers' survey conducted by market research firm Consumer Insight in the second half of last year, Eyesmobile ranked 7th in satisfaction, surpassing SK Seven Mobile and U Mobile, subsidiaries of mobile network operators. Compared to last year's evaluation, where it did not even make the ranking, Eyesmobile's customer satisfaction has dramatically increased within a year.
An Eyesvision official stated that the background of this growth lies in the online-centered 'customer satisfaction service.'
Last year, Eyesmobile revamped its homepage to provide an interactive subscription application service that made online sign-ups easier. Through this service, both the success rate of online applications and the number of activations increased.
Additionally, Eyesmobile offers a self-activation service that allows customers to activate their service directly and has strengthened its online customer center functions to handle various applications and changes online without connecting to a call center, thereby resolving delays in ARS customer center connections.
Eyesvision plans to continue its online-centered customer satisfaction services in 2024. It is preparing to launch 'Mohae 2.0,' an expanded version of the communication platform 'Mohae,' which was introduced last year as a specialized telecommunications discussion forum, and the interactive solution service 'Get My Phone Estimate,' which allows customers to easily chat and consult to avoid missing benefits on MNO (Mobile Network Operator) devices.
An Eyesvision official said, “Many customers use telecommunication services despite suffering losses due to complex terminology and information asymmetry. We aim to resolve this imbalance by using simple and easy-to-understand terms and promoting active information exchange so that customers can make rational choices. We are preparing various online services to evolve beyond a simple MVNO operator into a specialized telecommunications platform.”
