Gangnam-gu Holds 'District Administration Report Meeting'... Mayor Joseongmyeong Accelerates Listening Administration

Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jo Seong-myeong) will hold the "2024 Gangnam-gu District Administration Report Meeting" a total of 9 times from the 18th of this month to the 1st of next month.


This report meeting is an opportunity for the district mayor to meet directly with residents of the 22 neighborhoods to inform them about the major projects of the district in 2024 and listen to residents' suggestions. The meeting will provide detailed explanations to residents about the five major visions of the district administration and their concrete implementation plans: ▲ A Better Future, Led by Gangnam ▲ The Safest City is Gangnam ▲ Adding Vitality to the City ▲ Creating a Happy Gangnam for All ▲ Enjoying a Healthy and Relaxed Life in Gangnam.


The report meetings will be held in 9 sessions, grouping the 22 neighborhoods of Gangnam-gu into 2 to 3 neighborhoods per session.


Looking at the detailed schedule: ▲ 1st session for Sinsa and Nonhyeon 1-dong on January 18 at the 5th floor auditorium of Nonhyeon 1 Cultural Center ▲ 2nd session for Nonhyeon 2, Yeoksam 1, and Yeoksam 2-dong on January 19 at the 3rd floor theater of Yeoksam 1 Cultural Center ▲ 3rd session for Apgujeong and Cheongdam-dong on January 22 at the 4th floor auditorium of Cheongdam Lifelong Learning Center ▲ 4th session for Gaepo 1, Gaepo 2, and Gaepo 4-dong on January 23 at the multimedia room of Poi Elementary School ▲ 5th session for Gaepo 3, Irwonbon, and Irwon 1-dong on January 25 at the main auditorium of Jungdong High School ▲ 6th session for Suseo and Segok-dong on January 26 at the 3rd floor auditorium of Segok Cultural Center ▲ 7th session for Daechi 1 and Daechi 4-dong on January 29 at the 5th floor auditorium of Daechi 4 Cultural Center ▲ 8th session for Dogok 1 and Dogok 2-dong on January 30 at the 3rd floor Mugunghwa Hall of the Military Mutual Aid Association Building ▲ 9th session for Samseong 1, Samseong 2, and Daechi 2-dong on February 1 at the 3rd floor auditorium of Daechi 2 Cultural Center. All sessions will be held at 3 PM, and any resident interested in district administration can participate.


Jo Seong-myeong, Mayor of Gangnam-gu, stated, "Last year, we presented a vision for Gangnam's development, and this year, the second year of the 8th elected term, we will show a Gangnam of change and innovation." He added, "We will not neglect even the smallest opinions of residents and will listen carefully to create the future of Gangnam that will lead Korea for the next 100 years together with the residents."
