Seodaemun 50 Plus Center is recruiting dedicated managers to operate the 2024 Seoul 50+ Boram Job Project.
The Seoul 50+ Boram Job Project is a program that utilizes the experience and capabilities of middle-aged and older adults to contribute to the local community and provide opportunities for exploring new careers. Seodaemun 50 Plus Center currently operates the Community Welfare Project Group and the Local Resource Circulation Practice Group.
The managers to be hired this time include 3 people in total: 2 in charge of the Community Welfare Project Group and 1 in charge of the Local Resource Circulation Practice Group. They will work 5 days a week (40 hours) for 10 months from February to November this year and receive a monthly salary of 2,390,120 KRW (before tax), including the four major social insurances.
Applicants should refer to the announcements on the center’s website and submit the required documents via email by the 23rd of this month. The center will conduct interviews on the 29th only for those who pass the document screening and announce the final successful candidates on the 30th. Successful candidates will start working from February 1st.
The Community Welfare Project Group consists of 80 members who engage in social contribution activities at welfare facilities for the elderly, disabled, and youth in the Seodaemun, Mapo, and Eunpyeong areas. The Local Resource Circulation Practice Group (30 members) secures base areas for resource circulation, promotes the zero-waste movement, and carries out various environmental activities at Hongjecheon Stream and Ansan (鞍山).
Seodaemun 50 Plus Center is located on the 2nd floor of Gongyu Campus (Yujin Shopping Center), 484 Tongil-ro, Seodaemun-gu, and actively conducts support activities such as job transition support for people in their 40s in collaboration with Seoul Run 4050, education and career counseling for life redesign and job seeking after retirement for the middle-aged generation, and community support activities.
