O Do-chang, the governor of Yeongyang County, listened to the opinions of department heads and presented the vision and work direction for the new year 2024 through a meeting with senior officials on the 15th.
First, to establish a proactive organizational culture, he instructed the promotion of work centered on grade 6 public officials and urged the implementation of various programs to strengthen public officials' capabilities, such as report writing training.
He also emphasized the removal of administrative barriers by encouraging the discovery of policies and regular interdepartmental work study and cooperative response to complex civil complaints regardless of the assigned duties.
During the operation of various events, including the successfully held ‘1st Yeongyang Kkongkkong Winter Festival,’ he instructed active cooperation and support without departmental distinctions and encouraged all employees to strive for ‘administration without barriers’ this year.
With the full-scale seedling raising season for chili peppers underway, he instructed close cooperation with external organizations, including related agencies, to inspect fire hazard facilities to prevent fires in seedling greenhouses.
Furthermore, to ensure the smooth progress of large-scale facility projects, including the ‘Yeongyang County Public Park Cemetery Construction Project,’ he demanded thorough preparation of preliminary administrative procedures and proactive measures to secure the 2025 budget.
