Woongjin ThinkBig announced on the 15th that it showcased its product ‘ARpedia’ at its booth during ‘CES 2024,’ the world’s largest consumer electronics and information technology exhibition held in Las Vegas, USA, from the 9th to the 12th (local time).
Woongjin ThinkBig operated a collaborative booth in the gaming, metaverse, and XR (extended reality) sectors together with its overseas business partners in Greater China and the United States, ‘StudioA’ and ‘GEI (Global Education Institute),’ introducing the technology implemented in the augmented reality (AR) reading solution ‘ARpedia’ and its educational effects.

‘ARpedia,’ exhibited for three consecutive years since 2022, attracted attention each year with upgraded content. Following last year’s introduction of UX (user experience) technology that recognizes finger touches on paper books, this year it unveiled a variety of new themes, including a prototype of the unreleased new product ‘Disney Interactive Reading.’ Visitors who experienced the device gave positive feedback on the harmonious combination of paper books and digital devices, as well as the interaction features.
The number of booth visitors increased every year, reaching the highest in 2024. In addition, meaningful business achievements were made through forming relationships with new partners, signing extension contracts with some companies on-site, and continuing discussions on additional sales.
Starting with ‘CES 2024’ this year, Woongjin ThinkBig plans to strengthen its overseas market strategy by participating in various global fairs such as DIDAC India in India, Edutech Asia in Singapore, and BESS Vietnam in Vietnam.
Park Jung-wook, head of the ARpedia team at Woongjin ThinkBig, said, “This was a successful event that garnered much interest not only from general visitors but also from representatives of leading global companies, recognizing the excellence of ARpedia. We look forward to the day when children around the world learn with Korean educational products and will continue to focus on global expansion.”
