Simmons has achieved a cumulative donation amount of 400 million KRW.

For every purchase of the 'Beautyrest 1925,' 5% of the consumer price is accumulated as a fund for remodeling the Pediatric and Adolescent Center at Samsung Seoul Hospital, scheduled to be completed next year. This bed has gained a reputation among consumers as a 'good bed.'

The relationship between Simmons Beds and Samsung Seoul Hospital began in 2020. At that time, Simmons donated 300 million KRW to Samsung Seoul Hospital to support the treatment of pediatric cancer patients and children with severe rare and intractable diseases, who might have been neglected amid the healthcare system crisis caused by the COVID-19 outbreak.

Since then, Simmons has continued its good deeds annually, donating a total of 1.2 billion KRW, and this year, the cumulative donation amount is expected to increase to 1.5 billion KRW. This donation amount is separate from the cumulative donations from 'Beautyrest 1925.'

Thanks to Simmons' support, over 120 pediatric patients have received treatment so far. Notably, since last year, Simmons has become the first domestic company to support pediatric and adolescent palliative care within Samsung Seoul Hospital, expanding the culture of donation.

Pediatric and adolescent palliative care refers to comprehensive services provided to patients with severe illnesses and their families, including ▲improving patients' quality of life through pain management ▲psychological and social support for patients and families ▲support for patients' physical and emotional development ▲care for families during end-of-life and bereavement, helping families cope with difficulties arising during the treatment period.

Jung-ho Ahn, CEO of Simmons, expressed, “I believed that branding is necessary for donations to establish a sustainable culture rather than a one-time event, which led to the launch of Beautyrest 1925. Although Simmons initiated this new donation culture, the current change was made possible because consumers empathized with the purpose and voluntarily participated,” conveying his gratitude.
