The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will conduct training for personnel in charge of education public service staff personnel and recruitment by education support offices from the 16th to the 19th of this month.
This training was planned to strengthen the professionalism of public service staff and to prepare support measures for the field. Approximately 90 people are targeted for the training.
The main training contents include ▲ policies and systems for education public service staff ▲ key points of regular personnel changes (transfers and exchanges) ▲ fair recruitment work guidelines ▲ guidance on service systems and field support measures.
The Provincial Office of Education aims to increase field consensus on the fair recruitment work guidelines to enhance fairness in hiring education public service staff and to provide relief for victims of recruitment corruption. Additionally, it will guide changes in service due to the transition to the 4th generation NEIS, and provide points of caution for managing and assigning administrative clerks' regular and current staff in 2024, supporting schools through stable staffing placement.
Kim Jae-su, Director of Labor-Management Cooperation at the Provincial Office of Education, stated, "This training will serve as an opportunity to establish a fair recruitment system and culture for education public service staff," adding, "We will seek stable labor management measures through strengthening job competencies such as regular personnel tasks and communication with the field."
