Doksanbon-dong Daycare Center Donates 1,004 Packs of Ramen from Little Hands

Donation of 1,004 Angel Ramen by Gosarison Hands from Doksan 3-dong Doksanbondong Daycare Center in Geumcheon-gu

Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) announced on the 10th that it received 1,004 packs of ramen collected by children and staff at Doksanbondong Daycare Center located in Doksan 3-dong.

The ramen donated that day was collected by 83 daycare children who started gathering one or two packs with their small hands since December last year. To make the angelic children's hearts more meaningful, 20 staff members also participated, preparing a total of 1,004 packs of ramen, which adds greater significance to the donation.

The ramen donated this time was delivered to low-income vulnerable families in Doksan 3-dong and two free meal centers in the area.

Doksanbondong Daycare Center also collected and donated children’s contributions in 2022 and 2023.

Yoon Hyun-kyung, director of Doksanbondong Daycare Center, said, “We donated with the hope that the children would have a precious opportunity to understand and learn the meaning of sharing with neighbors in need,” adding, “We hope the warm hearts of the children and teachers will become a great hope for the marginalized neighbors in the community.”

Yu Seong-hoon, mayor of Geumcheon-gu, said, “The ramen collected with sincerity seems to contain the children’s beautiful hearts, making it feel even more precious,” and added, “I hope today’s experience will be an opportunity for the children to understand the meaning of sharing and grow into warm adults who love their neighbors.”
