Continuing Good Deeds Such as Support for Vulnerable Groups and Local Talent Development
Ulleung-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, announced that 'Ujeong Industry' visited the Ulleung-gun Office on the 12th and donated 5 million KRW to the 'Hope 2024 Sharing Campaign' through the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea to support vulnerable groups in the area, as well as 20 million KRW in scholarships to the Ulleung-gun Education Development Committee for the advancement of local education and talent cultivation.
'Ujeong Industry' donated 20 million KRW in scholarships to the Ulleung County Education Development Committee.
The donation ceremony was attended by Nam Han-gwon, the county governor, Han Ik-hyun, CEO of Ujeong Industry, and other executives and related personnel. The donated funds will be used to assist neighbors in need within the community, and the scholarships will be allocated to local students.
CEO Han Ik-hyun said, "I hope the donation will be used to help neighbors in difficulty around us, and that it will contribute to the growth of our local students into outstanding talents who will lead regional development in the future."
At the donation ceremony, County Governor Nam Han-gwon presented a commendation plaque from the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea to Ujeong Industry for their precious love and dedicated efforts to help neighbors in need, especially for their active participation in the 'Hope Sharing Campaign' fundraising activities. He expressed his gratitude, saying, "Thank you for donating funds and scholarships for marginalized neighbors and local talents." He added, "The donation will be used to support vulnerable groups in the area, and the scholarships will be carefully used for scholarship projects to nurture talents who will lead Ulleung's future."
