KGC Insamgongsa Delivers Jeonggwanjang Products to Over 3,000 6.25 War Veterans and Spouses Through (Sa) Hope Sharing People
KGC Ginseng Corporation delivered CheongKwanJang products to over 3,000 Korean War veterans and their spouses through the organization Hope Sharing People.
KGC Ginseng Corporation, which has been annually sponsoring CheongKwanJang products to vulnerable groups, has especially been steadily expanding its support targets since 2021 to include independence activists and their direct descendants in order to commemorate the spirit of veterans and promote a culture of sponsorship.
“A righteous company, an awakened company, a company that works together” is the management philosophy of KGC Ginseng Corporation. The goal is for 'customers, companies, and society' to all become healthier together by implementing various win-win management and social contribution programs.
To this end, KGC Ginseng Corporation practices healthy sharing by extending warm hands to those in blind spots of health through various activities such as product donations to diverse social classes, support for local children’s centers, surgery cost assistance for marginalized neighbors, and kimchi sharing events.
Every winter, kimchi sharing activities are conducted, and last year, kimchi and CheongKwanJang products were delivered to about 2,000 households in the locations of its business sites: Daedeok-gu in Daejeon, Buyeo-gun in Chungnam, Wonju-si in Gangwon, and Seoul.
During holidays such as Lunar New Year and Chuseok, the company runs the ‘Hyo Delivery’ campaign for elderly people living alone. Last Chuseok, the ‘Hyo (孝) Delivery Season 5’ campaign, a sharing project for elderly people living alone, was successfully completed.
Marking its 125th anniversary this year, KGC Ginseng Corporation announced that it will actively continue activities to honor the patriotism of national merit recipients of the Republic of Korea and will quietly carry out efforts to create a ‘healthier world together with neighbors’ through various win-win cooperation and social contribution activities in the future.
