Gangjin-gun Introduces Jeonnam's First Development Activity Permit System

From Application to Processing Fully Computerized... Enhancing the Quality of Permits

Gangjin-gun, Jeollanam-do, is enhancing the quality of permit approvals through the establishment of a Development Activity Permit System.

According to the county on the 12th, to improve the convenience and efficiency of permit approval tasks by providing systematic information and clear processing directions, a service project was initiated in November last year.

The development activity permit status, which had been managed in documents until now, will be computerized to organically link all stages from civil complaint reception to processing with the Saeol Administrative System, Seumter, and the Comprehensive Real Estate Registry System.

Through this, various indicators related to permit complaints will be provided, and by grasping the processing status of development activity complaints, tasks such as application information registration, document review, and consultation with related departments will be handled collectively to shorten the complaint processing period.

Additionally, since related laws and regulations are updated in real time due to legislative revisions and amendments, the accurate application of relevant laws during development activity permits will help resolve disputes and conflicts with civil petitioners.

During the permit approval process, map-based services (such as permit status of adjacent land) will be provided, and it will be possible to check land use status, building registers, and official land prices for the project site, allowing a comprehensive view of permit complaint details in the vicinity of a specific lot number. It will also be easy to verify existing permit records for the same lot number, greatly contributing to the permit approval process.

Furthermore, detailed information on rejected or disapproved complaints around the relevant civil complaint, simplification of standardized input methods, automation of official document and report writing inputs, and management of personal work checklists will be possible, enabling efficient progress of development activity permit tasks.

The existing development activity permit data will also be entered and managed through the database as part of the Development Activity Permit System construction, allowing continuous processing of existing permits such as modification approvals.

The Development Activity Permit System is scheduled to be completed by next month, followed by a pilot operation, and will be fully operational starting in April.

Kim Dong-jin, Head of the Civil Service Department, stated, “Once the Development Activity Permit System is completed for the first time in Jeollanam-do, it will provide convenience to residents by shortening the permit processing period and will be utilized as basic data for regional development projects in Gangjin-gun through the computerization of development activity permit status.”
