Gangdong-gu Mayor Lee Su-hee Starts the Year of the Rabbit with 'District Information Report Meeting'

Starting from the 23rd, the '2024 Gu Administration Report Meeting' Begins... Presenting Gu Administration Vision and Key Projects... Direct Communication with Residents While Listening to Opinions on Local Issues

Gangdong-gu (Mayor Lee Su-hee) will hold the '2024 Gapjin Year District Information Report Meeting' starting from the 23rd to explain the direction of district administration for 2024 and to share local issues with residents in a communication session.

The '2024 Gapjin Year District Information Report Meeting' will be held in seven zones, beginning with Amsa-dong, and will also be available online to allow participation from office workers and self-employed individuals.

At this event, Mayor Lee Su-hee will personally explain the 2024 district administration direction and key district projects to residents, directly communicating with them about local issues and listening to various opinions.

Additionally, the district plans to actively review suggestions regarding overall district administration and local issues received on-site to resolve residents' inconveniences.

Last year, during dialogues with residents in the neighborhoods, the district received 201 on-site opinions and processed 137 complaints, excluding those requiring long-term review.

Currently, the district is publicly recruiting participants for the District Information Report Meeting to directly hear diverse voices from the field. Residents wishing to participate can apply by phone or visit their respective community service centers.

Furthermore, for residents unable to attend in person, the district will operate three online District Information Report Meetings from February 1 to February 5. Participation applications can be made through the Gangdong-gu Office website or via QR code.

Mayor Lee Su-hee of Gangdong-gu stated, “This District Information Report Meeting will be a valuable opportunity to share the major district project plans for the year with residents and to hear vivid opinions from the field. We will communicate at the residents’ level and reflect their valuable opinions in district administration to make living in Gangdong a source of pride through open governance.”
