Step-by-step Strategy Development and Proactive Response to Achieve Military Administration Goals

Yeongdeok County held the early-year report meeting ahead of schedule compared to previous years to ensure swift work progress and proactive achievement of results. Through a department-by-department reporting method involving all staff, the direction of county administration and detailed project contents were shared with employees to enhance work efficiency.


At this report meeting, Mayor Kim instructed the establishment of meticulous and realistic project implementation plans to produce concrete outcomes in major projects, based on the unprecedented achievement of securing a main budget of 600 billion KRW, aiming to accomplish this year’s county administration goals.


In particular, to achieve remarkable results in competitive projects for securing next year’s national and provincial funding, step-by-step strategies were devised and reported. Problems were intensively reviewed to seek effective solutions for prompt project implementation.


Through this report meeting, Mayor Kim urged the staff to focus administrative efforts on ▲establishing a foundation for naming middle schools in the county ▲discovering policies for actual population increase ▲strengthening promotion of the mobile civil complaint response team ▲formulating tourism activation plans in preparation for the opening of the Pohang-Yeongdeok Expressway ▲landmarking Yeongdeok Blue Road ▲developing Gwanaedae into a wellness destination ▲early completion of the Yeongdeok Market reconstruction project ▲actively promoting rural workforce support projects ▲securing sales channels for agricultural and marine specialties ▲realizing high added value in seafood processing businesses ▲promoting Yeongdeok Songi mushrooms in the metropolitan area ▲improving public transportation convenience tailored to local conditions ▲revitalizing the local economy through sports marketing ▲and effective renewal of Munsanho Lake, thereby laying the foundation for a ‘Happy Yeongdeok for Residents.’


Mayor Kim Gwang-yeol stated, “In an environment where politics, economy, society, and environment are rapidly changing, overcoming crises requires wisdom and practical ability to not fear change and to proactively respond by anticipating upcoming issues.” He emphasized, “By preparing in advance and pushing work one step faster, each employee should become the main agent of projects to enhance project quality and promote local economic revitalization, becoming the key players in creating a better tomorrow and a Yeongdeok where everyone is happy together.”
