Seongbuk-gu Selected as ‘Best Institution’ for Two Consecutive Years in Comprehensive Information Disclosure Evaluation

Seongbuk-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Seung-ro) has been selected as the "Best Institution" for two consecutive years in the "2023 Comprehensive Information Disclosure Evaluation" hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, following 2022.

The Ministry of the Interior and Safety conducted a comprehensive evaluation of transparent and proactive information disclosure performance targeting a total of 550 institutions, including central administrative agencies, local governments, and public institutions. This evaluation was conducted across 12 indicators in 4 areas: prior disclosure, full-text disclosure, request processing, and customer management. Seongbuk-gu scored 93.30 points, which is 9.11 points higher than the average of 84.19 points for the autonomous district category, earning the highest grade.

In particular, Seongbuk-gu received positive evaluations for systematically classifying, registering, and disclosing various information of interest to residents through prior identification, as well as for faithfully protecting personal information. Additionally, it was selected as the best institution again this year for its efforts to improve accessibility and usability of the disclosed key information.
