Employment Camp for Current Students Held on August 9-10
National Pukyong University (President Jang Young-su) held an 'Employment Camp for Self-Introduction and Interview Using AI Platforms' over two days on the 8th and 9th at Gyeongju Hanwha Resort.
The Employment Camp, organized by the National Pukyong University University Job Plus Center (Center Director Kim Tae-gyu), is a program designed to support current students preparing for employment to actively utilize AI technologies such as ChatGPT in writing self-introduction letters and interviews as the use of AI technology increases.
About 40 third- and fourth-year students participated in the program, which included two days of training on self-analysis and finding competency keywords, writing self-introduction letters using AI platforms, creating interview content using AI platforms, and mock interviews.
Participating students practiced by inputting keywords and other information into an AI self-introduction letter solution to draft their letters and then improved the completeness of their letters through consulting with employment consultants.
Following this, mock interviews were conducted using an AI interview consulting service that generates expected questions based on the self-introduction letter input, allowing students to receive evaluations and advice on their answers.
Students who participated in the program responded, "Writing a self-introduction letter alone was overwhelming, but writing it using the AI platform was innovative, and it was great to be able to prepare for interview questions through AI as well."
