The signature hole is the 9th hole (par 5). The vast lake and rocky cliff ridge spread out below are beautiful. It is possible to attempt a 2-on by clearing the right bunker, but the safe strategy is to bypass both the tee shot and second shot to the left side of the fairway. The green is a two-tier green with a depression in the front center.

The clubhouse is more than just a facility for golf customers; it is a multi-cultural space accessible to everyone, featuring a hotel-grade restaurant, caf?, observatory, walking trails, performance hall, and relaxation facilities. Seongmunan CC is operated by HDC Resort, which owns the largest 90-hole golf course in Korea. The service is also reliable. There is free valet parking and tee-offs every 10 minutes. For a new target audience familiar with mobile technology, a digital transformation (DX) system is operated. It is a ‘Golf Course Hi-Pass Solution’ that allows golfers to check in, assign locker rooms, and make payments all at once via mobile. The DX system usage rate averages 95%. Inside the clubhouse, which sublimates beautiful nature as part of its architecture, there is an authentic Italian restaurant called ‘Fioretto.’ In Italian, it means small flower, chosen person, and the best. Chef Federico Heinzman offers the finest dining experience. Chef Heinzman confidently states, "Based on vivid experiences at luxury hotels worldwide over 25 years and creative sensibility, I will impress customers’ palates."

The signature menu includes Neapolitan-style pizza and fresh pasta. The pizza is baked directly in a 400-degree handmade brick oven by the world-renowned Stefano Ferrara. The pasta, made with the 90-year-old Italian luxury pasta machine La Monferrina, is also popular. ◆SeeGO= Seongmunan CC has ‘Dadung-gil.’ The name comes from an old place name meaning a village on a mountain ridge. It is a trekking course about 40 km in total, created along with the start of Seongmunan. Dadung-gil begins at the Seongmunan section, which overlooks the serene scenery of the Seom River after passing the majestic cliff rock views. It continues past Museum SAN, a cultural space of architecture and art in nature, to Oak Valley Resort. Trekkers can choose routes according to their preferences and difficulty levels.

Near Seongmunan CC is Pungsuwon Cathedral. Built in 1907 by a Korean priest, it is the first cathedral in Gangwon-do. It was designated as Gangwon-do Tangible Cultural Property No. 69 in November 1982. After the Byeongin Yangyo in the 3rd year of King Gojong of Joseon (1866), it served as a refuge for believers who faced persecution of Catholicism. It is a historic eclectic Gothic architectural structure, the fourth of its kind built in Korea. Even after 100 years, it still maintains its beautiful appearance.
