On the 10th, CEO Hwang visited the LG Uplus Magok headquarters to check the status of network equipment inspections and held a meeting with infrastructure staff. He urged the network operation employees to establish a solid foundation in quality, safety, and security, which are the core of communication.

He emphasized, "All of the company's products and services ultimately start from the network, so network competitiveness forms the foundation of the company's competitiveness," adding, "Let's improve the 'perceived quality' felt by customers and increase customer satisfaction and preference."

He also listened to the difficulties experienced by on-site employees and suggestions for improvements from the customer experience perspective. During the meeting, opinions such as "It would be good to attach QR codes to devices so that customers can quickly receive support without the need for an AS technician visit in case of set-top box malfunctions, providing instructional videos" were raised. These communication activities are a core part of on-site management and have produced meaningful results. CEO Hwang has directly incorporated 60 improvements into management activities in the first half of last year alone based on feedback from field employees.

A representative example is the automatic application of telecom partnership benefits when customers use music streaming services. When CEO Hwang visited the Busan Mobile Customer Center in May last year, he suggested making it easier for customers to use music service licenses, and the system update was completed the following month in June.

CEO Hwang’s on-site management has continued since his first year as CEO in 2021. Over three years, he has traveled approximately 25,000 km, equivalent to 30 round trips between Seoul and Busan. In 2021, he visited sites 40 times, covering 11,700 km annually. Considering social distancing measures at the time, he visited employees more frequently in smaller groups. In 2022, he reduced the number of visits to 34 locations but increased the scale of meetings, traveling 5,300 km annually.

Last year, he went on 33 business trips, covering about 8,300 km nationwide. He focused on customer contact channels by visiting customer centers and sales stores. Ahead of the summer vacation season, he visited airport roaming centers, and during the rainy season, he held communication sessions with the network organization, conducting site visits according to the season. This year, he plans to carry out about 40 on-site visits.
