Luibao and Huibao, One Week into Their Outing at Panda World
Everland, operated by Samsung C&T Resort Division, released photos on the 11th of twin baby pandas Ruibao and Huibao, who have been enjoying their first week outing in Panda World.
The twin baby pandas, who have been open to the public since the 4th and continue to meet visitors, both currently weigh over 12 kg and are growing healthily.
Panda keeper Kang Cheol-won said, "Ruibao and Huibao are quickly adapting to the Panda World enclosure, climbing the wooden shelter or walking on the single-log bridge and playing with each other while their mother Aibao eats bamboo."
Accordingly, Everland has gradually increased the number of visitors per viewing session, which was initially reduced to help the twin baby pandas adapt to the enclosure, from the original 30 people to about 80 people since early this week, returning to the previous level.
From 10:10 AM, when Ruibao and Huibao come out to the Panda World enclosure, visitors can see all five pandas of the family for about an hour: mother Aibao and the twin pandas in the indoor enclosure, eldest sister Pubao, and father Lubao in the outdoor enclosure.
Everland plans to continue observing the twin baby pandas, extend the current viewing time of about one hour, and consider rotating the display of the panda family members.
Meanwhile, Ruibao and Huibao are the first twin panda sisters born naturally in Korea at Everland Panda World on July 7 last year.
