Expanding Support for Independence Patriots Since 2021
"Increasing Activities Honoring the Patriotism of National Meritorious Persons"
KGC Insamgongsa announced on the 11th that it will deliver CheongKwanJang products to over 3,000 Korean War veterans and their spouses through Hope Sharing People.
KGC Insamgongsa, which has been sponsoring CheongKwanJang products to vulnerable groups annually, has been steadily expanding its support targets since 2021 to include independence activists and their direct descendants in order to reflect on the meaning of veterans and promote a culture of sponsorship.
"A righteous company, an awakened company, a company that works together" is the management philosophy of KGC Insamgongsa. The goal is for "customers, companies, and society" to all become healthier together by implementing various win-win management and social contribution programs.
To this end, KGC Insamgongsa practices healthy sharing by extending a warm hand to those in blind spots of health through various activities such as product donations to diverse social classes, support for local children's centers, surgery cost support for marginalized neighbors, and kimchi sharing events.
Every winter, kimchi sharing activities are conducted, and last year, kimchi and CheongKwanJang products were delivered to about 2,000 households in Daejeon Daedeok-gu, Chungnam Buyeo-gun, Gangwon Wonju-si, and Seoul, where the company’s local business sites are located.
During holidays such as Lunar New Year and Chuseok, the company runs the "Hyo Delivery" campaign for elderly people living alone. Last Chuseok, the "Hyo (孝) Delivery Season 5" campaign, a sharing project for elderly people living alone, was successfully completed.
A KGC Insamgongsa official stated, "KGC Insamgongsa, celebrating its 125th anniversary this year, plans to actively carry out activities to honor the patriotism of national merit recipients in Korea," adding, "We will continue to quietly practice efforts to create a 'healthier world' shared with neighbors through various win-win cooperation and social contribution activities."
