Providing Long-Term Missing Children Information When Scanning Murabel QR Code
Song and MV Released Featuring Couple Lee Hyori and Lee Sangsoon
Jeju Samdasoo announced on the 11th that it will launch the ‘When We Believe (Singing Longing)’ campaign using Jeju Samdasoo’s unlabeled QR code product together with the couple Lee Hyori and Lee Sangsoon to raise awareness of long-term missing children.
This campaign is a corporate social responsibility (CSR) activity by Jeju Samdasoo for long-term missing children and their families. By scanning the QR code on the cap of Jeju Samdasoo’s unlabeled product, consumers can view information related to Jeju Samdasoo, and clicking the link related to the long-term missing children campaign at the bottom connects to the campaign page. Jeju Samdasoo planned this campaign to raise social interest and awareness of long-term missing children by allowing people to see the faces of long-term missing children restored to their current appearance on the campaign page.

As the first step of the campaign, Jeju Samdasoo released a music track by the couple Lee Hyori and Lee Sangsoon. Composed by Lee Sangsoon, ‘I Hope It’s Like Yours’ conveys a message of belief and hope that they can meet again, and through Lee Hyori’s voice, it expresses the family’s longing and earnestness for the missing children. The song and music video can be enjoyed on the campaign page and various music streaming sites. Following the release of the track, Jeju Samdasoo plans to sequentially release cover music videos featuring various artists and carry out diverse activities such as social media (SNS) events.
Baek Kyunghoon, president of Jeju Development Corporation, said, “We launched this campaign so that everyone can reflect on about a thousand domestic long-term missing children who have not returned to their families for over a year,” and added, “Starting with the release of the music track, we plan to continue various activities related to the long-term missing children campaign, so we ask for everyone’s participation.”
Meanwhile, Jeju Samdasoo launched the unlabeled ‘Jeju Samdasoo Green’ last September, the first in the domestic bottled water industry to introduce a QR code on the product cap.
