US SEC Approves Listing of Bitcoin Spot ETF

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved a Bitcoin spot exchange-traded fund (ETF) on the 10th (local time).


According to foreign media such as Bloomberg and CNBC, the SEC announced in a statement that it had approved 11 Bitcoin spot ETFs, including Grayscale, Bitwise, and Hashdex.


CNBC predicted that the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust ETF would be the first to launch. BlackRock Asset Management and Fidelity are also expected to introduce competing products. The first fund is expected to begin trading on the 11th (local time).
