Buffalo wing king SASE (CEO Kim Kwang-sun) announced on the 10th that it won first place in the 'Chicken Processed Products' category at the 2024 Korea First Brand Awards.
Celebrating its 22nd anniversary this year, the 'Korea First Brand Awards' is Asia's largest brand awards, selecting promising brands to lead the year through consumer surveys conducted annually. A total of approximately 2.45 million consumers participated in the survey conducted online and via telephone from November 6 to 19, 2023.
SASE was the most chosen by the 2030 generation and ranked first in the chicken processed products category.
SASE Co., Ltd. has led the domestic frozen chicken processed products market as a B2B company for over 30 years, offering various chicken products including buffalo wings through leading domestic franchise restaurants. In response to the rapidly changing times, since 2020, it has expanded into the B2C market, continuously introducing a variety of home chicken products with excellent taste and quality at reasonable prices, focusing on targeting smart consumers who can conveniently enjoy them at home.
As a result of these efforts, B2C sales in 2022 reached 48 billion KRW, and total sales in 2023 reached 300 billion KRW, an increase of about 11.1% compared to the previous year.
