Tirobotics is showing strong performance. It is interpreted to be influenced by news of expectations for large-scale purchase orders from LG Group.
As of 11:06 AM on the 9th, Tirobotics is trading at 22,600 KRW, up 10.78% compared to the previous day.
According to the industry, Tirobotics, a specialized manufacturer of AMRs (logistics robots), has recently been registered as an official vendor for AMRs with LG Innotek and is accelerating mass production development. LG Innotek is a major component affiliate of LG Group, producing a large number of globally top-ranked substrates.
Previously, in April last year, Tirobotics signed a supply contract worth 25 billion KRW for AMRs used in secondary battery production processes with SK Inc. (SK On). This is understood to be for the volume destined for the Kentucky battery plant (SKBA) under construction by SK On and Ford. The two companies plan to invest approximately 5.8 billion USD (about 7.6 trillion KRW) to build plants 1 and 2 and start mass battery production from next year. At that time, Tirobotics announced that it signed a supply contract with SK Inc. and will supply AMRs until the end of June 2025.
