Introduction to Patrol Robot Equipped with AI CCTV
Newbility, an indoor and outdoor autonomous driving robot service platform led by CEO Sangmin Lee, announced on the 9th that it will showcase its patrol robot at 'CES 2024,' the world's largest electronics and information technology exhibition held in Las Vegas, USA.
Newbility plans to introduce its patrol robot at the 'CES 2024' Incheon Pavilion, organized by the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority, together with SK Shielders. Last year, Newbility received the Innovation Award in the Smart City category at 'CES 2023' and was recognized for the technology and marketability of its autonomous driving robot 'Newbee.' At CES 2024, Newbility will unveil for the first time the autonomous patrol robot jointly developed with SK Telecom and SK Shielders.
Since last year, Newbility has been developing and enhancing patrol functions to respond to various risk scenarios through pilot operations of patrol robots on the campuses of Duksung Women's University and Gangwon National University Samcheok Campus in collaboration with SK Shielders and SK Telecom. Recently, through pilot operations at Songdo Central Park, the patrol robot has been performing autonomous patrols and facility safety inspections 24 hours a day, day and night, in hazardous areas.
Through participation in CES 2024, Newbility plans to introduce its robot solutions, including autonomous patrol robots, and actively pursue overseas expansion. Sangmin Lee, CEO of Newbility, stated, "Newbility plans to steadily prepare various measures this year to secure competitive technology and marketability in the global market as well."
