The Ministry of Science and ICT will support the participation of domestic metaverse and extended reality (XR) companies at the world's largest IT and electronics exhibition, CES 2024.
The Ministry plans to organize a K-Metaverse pavilion at CES, held from the 9th to the 12th in Las Vegas, USA.

The Ministry of Science and ICT plans to operate various export support programs. In particular, it will invite major U.S. media outlets including Forbes, digital media channels, and North American tech influencers to widely promote the excellent technological capabilities of domestic metaverse companies.
Notably, 3 out of the 10 companies have secured the 'CES 2024 Innovation Award' in a total of 4 categories. The innovative products and services of the K-Metaverse pavilion participants are expected to attract high interest from global investors and buyers.
Kang Dohyun, Director of the Information and Communications Policy Bureau at the Ministry of Science and ICT, stated, "We will utilize all our capabilities to support the overseas expansion and export growth of domestic metaverse and XR companies equipped with creative ideas and innovative technologies."
