Daegyeong ICT Industry Association Donates Over 25 Million Won for Neighbor Assistance Fund

The Daegyeong ICT Industry Association (President Park Yoonha) donated 15 million KRW to the Daegu City Happiness Promotion Social Service Center and about 10 million KRW to the Volunteer Capacity Development Center as neighbor-helping donations.

This fundraising activity, conducted under the name "Sharing Neighborly Love with the Association," saw more member companies participating in the donation drive than in previous years, reaffirming the association's warm interest in the local community.

The Daegyeong ICT Industry Association consistently carries out donation activities every year, practicing warm sharing and love for the local community and neighbors. Starting with free volunteer work at the "Senior Citizens' Rest Hope House," the association also delivered donations and protective suits to help overcome COVID-19 during its peak.

Subsequently, the association expanded its donation recipients, actively continuing donation activities by delivering goods and funds through the Daegu Briquette Bank, Daegu Happiness Promotion Center, and Volunteer Capacity Development Center (Daegu Ggokbang Counseling Center), and stated that it will continue meaningful activities in the future.

Park Yoonha, president of the Daegyeong ICT Industry Association, said, "This donation activity was prepared by the association together with member companies with the hope of helping neighbors facing difficulties in the local community and wishing them a warm winter both physically and mentally. Although small, I hope it will be used where it is truly needed and provide some help to neighbors in hardship."

The Daegyeong ICT Industry Association is an organization composed of about 300 IT/CT companies in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk area, established in 2011 to form a systematic community for the activation of information, knowledge, and business exchange and to contribute to regional and national economic development.
