Dahami Communications Launches AI Training Data Service 'NDPT'

Dahami Communications Launches AI Training Data Service 'NDPT' Provided by Dahami Communications

Dahami Communications (hereinafter Dahami) announced on the 5th the launch of NDPT (News data for Pre-Training), a news data supply service for AI training.

‘NDPT’ is a high-quality news data provision service for AI training, offering safe data with resolved copyrights from print news secured through 25 years of domestic copyright distribution business, extending to online, broadcast news, and press photos.

Additionally, the ‘NDPT’ service holds the largest amount of news data in Korea in various formats such as text, images, and videos. It also secures 1.63 million government press releases (an average of about 200 per day), ensuring optimal quality and data usefulness through diverse and reliable data training.

News covers a wide range of topics including politics, economy, society, and culture, and is continuously generated, making it suitable for AI to learn the latest information and understand real-time changing situations. However, if the data is inaccurate, training may not proceed properly, so securing high-quality and reliable data is crucial.

To provide accurate and reliable AI training data, ‘NDPT’ actively utilizes its specialized AI framework called ‘dAIa (Dahami Artificial Intelligence Application).’ This framework meticulously refines and inspects domestic news data to maximize data quality.

The ‘NDPT’ service launched by Dahami is designed to reduce the hassle of individually contracting with many media outlets in a market environment where the scope and pricing of data provision are not specifically defined, enabling copyright agreements with domestic media companies to be resolved at once.

Meanwhile, Dahami Communications has been the official distributor for the Korea Press Foundation since 2008 and is the largest news distribution specialist in Korea. It developed the world’s first ‘Scrap Master,’ which scraps print, online, and broadcast news and compiles reports. The company continues research and development on technologies integrating news content solutions such as PRKok (a press release aggregation system). Furthermore, since 2016, Dahami has been selected annually as a ‘Youth-Friendly Small Giant Company’ (a company with working conditions preferred by young people) by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, maintaining this status for nine consecutive years, including in 2024.
