Samsung Electronics announced on the 4th that it will launch the mid-range model 'Galaxy A25 5G' in Korea on the 5th, priced at 449,900 KRW.
The 'Galaxy A25 5G' features a large 164.2mm (6.5-inch) Super AMOLED display and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. It offers up to 1000 nits brightness, providing a bright screen even under strong sunlight outdoors, and includes an eye protection feature that reduces blue light to minimize eye fatigue. It delivers vivid image quality for content viewing as well as high immersion when enjoying videos and games.
The rear camera setup includes three cameras: a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The front camera is 13MP.
In particular, the rear camera is equipped with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Video Digital Image Stabilization (VDIS), allowing stable photo and video shooting even in shaky or dynamic situations.
It supports wired charging up to 25W and uses a large 5000mAh battery. The storage capacity is 128GB, and it can be expanded with a microSD card up to 1TB.
This product securely protects users' personal information such as passwords, biometric data, and authentication keys by storing them in a separate physical space through Samsung's proprietary chipset security platform, 'Samsung Knox Vault.' It will receive security updates for five years after release.
The 'Galaxy A25 5G' also supports Samsung Pay. It enables easy online and offline payments based on Near Field Communication (NFC) and Magnetic Secure Transmission (MST) technologies. With various features such as digital home keys, mobile driver's licenses, movie tickets, and membership cards, users can enjoy a more convenient digital wallet life.
Featuring a clean design with a unique pattern and haze finish, the 'Galaxy A25 5G' will be available in three colors: Yellow, Light Blue, and Blue Black. It supports both LTE and 5G networks and will be released through Korea's three major mobile carriers as well as an unlocked model. The price is 449,900 KRW.
