SK Hynix is reportedly set to issue dollar bonds worth 1 billion dollars (approximately 1.3 trillion won).
According to major foreign media on the 3rd, SK Hynix has selected eight investment banks for the issuance of bonds with maturities of 3 and 5 years. The issuance size is expected to be decided later depending on market conditions.
SK Hynix posted a loss of 1.8 trillion won in the third quarter of last year, continuing losses for four consecutive quarters from the fourth quarter of 2022.
However, recent recovery in the semiconductor market and increased demand for next-generation DRAM such as High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) have led to expectations that performance will improve starting from the fourth quarter of the same year.
