Forged, Speed Metal, Forged Black - 3 Types
New Logo and Enhanced Performance
Upgraded Feel, Forgiveness, and Handling
Korea Mizuno introduces three new MX-1 series iron models for 2024.
This time, the lineup includes the MX-1 Forged Iron, Speed Metal Iron, and Forged Black Edition. These are next-generation models of the MX series, which has long been loved by Korean golfers as traditional soft iron forged irons. The key feature is the Grain Flow Forged HD (GFF HD) forging method. It achieves a perfect balance of feel, forgiveness, and workability. With a completely redesigned logo, this is an evolved performance line exclusively for Korea.
The MX-1 Forged Iron uses pure soft iron material ‘1025E’. By minimizing the amount of air bubbles inside the head, it delivers a consistent feel without variation across different numbered heads. The deep undercut cavity and HIT PAD design realize excellent repulsion performance. Mizuno’s first dedicated wedge features full groove technology, providing outstanding spin performance.
The MX-1 Speed Metal is a cast iron with a sharp head design and precise engineering to comfortably launch the ball farther. The seamless cup face head structure allows the face to flex and recover more easily upon impact. It incorporates the NEW CORTECH FACE technology used in the JPX923 Hot Metal irons. The thick center area is expanded vertically and horizontally to ensure stable play and increased moment of inertia.
To celebrate the launch of the Korea-exclusive MX-1 series irons, Mizuno is holding a customer event until the end of this month. Customers who purchase the product through official dealers and register the genuine product on the website to participate in the event will receive a durable lightweight BR-D2 stand bag as a gift. More details are available on the website and social media channels.
