Yuhan Corporation has set its 2024 management indicators as "Passion, Proactive, Perseverance," and has announced its goal of becoming one of the "Top 50 Global Pharmaceutical Companies."

On January 2, Yuhan Corporation held its New Year's ceremony and established these management indicators to achieve its corporate vision of "Great & Global." Building on the core values of "Progress" and "Integrity," which are central to Yuhan, the company aims to continuously take on challenges with strong "Passion," act proactively based on thorough "Preparation," and achieve the goal of becoming a top 50 global pharmaceutical company with unwavering "Perseverance."

In his New Year's address, CEO Joo Wookje reflected, "Although the COVID-19 pandemic has ended, I sincerely thank all employees for their dedicated efforts in their respective roles amid an exceptionally difficult and uncertain business environment, exacerbated by the tense global situation."

He continued, "The business environment is expected to remain challenging this year as well, but we have demonstrated the resilience to overcome numerous crises and achieve continuous growth over nearly the past century." He emphasized, "With the spirit of Seungpungpalang (乘風破浪), let us ride new winds and overcome any obstacles that may stand in our way." Seungpungpalang is an idiom meaning "to overcome difficulties and achieve great ambitions by riding the wind and breaking the waves."

CEO Joo added, "With Yuhan's 100th anniversary just two years away, we will do our utmost to ensure that Lekraza achieves a successful global launch as an innovative new drug. I also urge everyone to focus on selection and concentration so that we can enhance the company's value by launching second and third Lekraza-like products as early as possible."
