On the 1st, Baek shared a video on his YouTube channel showing his visit to the breakfast buffet restaurant at Hotel The Born located in Jeju. From the New Year, he announced his plan to visit restaurants that have been featured or solved through broadcasts under the concept of "I eat my own" (Naekko Naemuk).

Baek said, "For example, in the case of the breakfast buffet 'Tammora' at The Born Hotel, which is operated by The Born, I can make surprise visits and explain what kind of menu is currently being served while having breakfast." He continued, "To boast a little, since we opened the hotel, the occupancy rate has been 96.5%. It's a world record," emphasizing again, "An occupancy rate of 96.5% means there are no available rooms every day. For seven years."

He added, "Is it because the general manager is doing well? That's right. It’s a hotel with excellent cost-effectiveness," he self-praised. In the industry, an occupancy rate above 90% is considered full, and above 80% is regarded as high occupancy.

Baek’s Jeju hotel is famous for its cost-effectiveness. Guests also note that prices do not excessively increase during peak seasons, and the price difference between weekdays and weekends is not significant. Especially, the "cost-effective breakfast buffet," which leverages Baek’s expertise, contributes to its popularity. The breakfast buffet price for adult guests at this hotel is 12,000 KRW, about half the price of other 4-star hotel breakfast buffets (around 20,000 KRW).

The high occupancy rate of this hotel has been publicized through broadcasts before. In the 2020 KBS2 show "The Manager Has Donkey Ears," cast members visited this Jeju hotel and said, "Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, the occupancy rate was 95%."

Meanwhile, Baek announced that to celebrate the 8th anniversary of Hotel The Born and the previous 'Yeondon,' starting from the 1st of next month, he will hold a Yeondon reservation agency event for hotel guests. He explained, "This is not because hotel guests are lacking or hotel business is not doing well and we are using Yeondon to run the business. Even if you contact now, (hotel) reservations are not available. Sometimes even I cannot make reservations urgently. We prepared this event as a token of gratitude for the many customers who visit."
