iWON "Phronics Signs Supply Contract for Micro LED Mask with Amore"

iWIN announced on the 2nd that its subsidiary Pronix has signed an exclusive supply contract for surface-emitting micro LED masks with Amorepacific.

Through this contract, Amorepacific will exclusively supply Pronix's surface-emitting micro LED masks for the next two years.

According to the company, Pronix's product implements the LLLT (Low-Level Laser Therapy) theory, where red light in the 630~660 nm wavelength range is absorbed by the mitochondria in the dermis layer at an appropriate intensity, promoting skin regeneration and whitening.

Existing LED mask products use mini LEDs, making it impossible to achieve surface emission and preventing close contact with the skin, which results in insufficient light reaching the dermis layer. Pronix's surface-emitting micro LED mask can flexibly adhere to the skin and achieves perfect surface emission using 3,770 micro LEDs.

Amorepacific is reportedly considering investment to maintain a close strategic partnership with Pronix in the future. Currently, close consultations between the two companies are underway, and the scale and form of the investment are expected to be decided in March.

A Pronix representative stated, “After successfully developing surface-emitting micro LED technology, Pronix has decided to exclusively supply Amorepacific for the most effective commercialization.” He added, “We plan to actively enter the 76 trillion won beauty device market with a sales target of at least 20 billion won over the next two years.” He further mentioned, “We plan to consecutively launch scalp products in the second half of the year and products for the neck and hands next year.”
