Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) will start the first official schedule of the new year at ‘G Valley’ (Seoul Digital Industrial Complex). The district announced that it will hold a ‘field-centered work report meeting’ for three days from January 2 to 4.

Geumcheon-gu holds a ‘field-centered work report meeting’ every early year, where the mayor visits key project sites instead of the traditional reporting method.

The main tasks of this report meeting are ‘G Valley,’ ‘Walking Together with the Elderly,’ and ‘Safety Inspection.’ It will be held at 12 locations, starting with the G Valley Enterprise Support Center.

On the 2nd, at the Enterprise Support Center, they will review support policies for G Valley, the core growth engine of Geumcheon-gu’s economy, aiming to solidify the foundation of the local economy.

On the 3rd, they plan to visit the parcel sorting center staffed by seniors, the Youth Culture House, and Cheongchun Building to encourage and prepare support measures for socially vulnerable groups such as the elderly, children and youth, single-person households, and young adults. They will also hold a dining meeting with young adults and single-person household residents to hear their stories directly.

On the 4th, they will visit the snow removal forward base to recheck whether facilities and equipment can operate properly during winter disaster situations.

Additionally, they will visit major construction sites to check progress, including ▲ Urban Brand Promotion Tower installation site (1.2) ▲ Gasan Digital Complex Station entrance improvement construction (1.2) ▲ Geumcheon-gu Family Center construction (1.3) ▲ Geumbit Park improvement construction (1.4) ▲ Geumcheon Sports Park Sky Bridge construction (1.4).

Yu Seong-hoon, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, stated, “To make Geumcheon soar like a blue dragon in the new year of Gapjin, all public officials in Geumcheon-gu must work hard on site,” and added, “In 2024, the mayor and executives will take the lead to ensure that district administration is carried out in accordance with the field.”
