Chairman Kim Hyun-gi Leaves Guestbook: "We Will Warmly Protect Citizens' Lives"
Kim Hyun-ki, Chairman of the Seoul Metropolitan Council (People Power Party, Gangnam 3rd Electoral District), began his first schedule of the new year on January 1, 2024, the first day of the Gapjin Year (甲辰年), by paying respects at the National Seoul National Cemetery.
At 9:50 a.m. that day, Chairman Kim honored the noble spirits of the patriotic martyrs and national heroes by laying flowers and incense at the Memorial Tower.
In the guestbook, he wrote his New Year's pledge for legislative activities: "I will uphold the spirit of the ancestors and warmly protect the lives of the citizens."
The visit included 21 council members, such as Vice Chairmen Nam Chang-jin and Woo Hyung-chan, Operations Committee Chair Lee Eun-rim, Administration and Autonomy Committee Chair Kim Won-tae, Planning and Economy Committee Chair Lee Sook-ja, Health and Welfare Committee Chair Kang Seok-joo, and Urban Safety Committee Chair Song Do-ho.
