Systematic Support for Songwon University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation Cafeteria Until 2026
Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 26th that it has signed a private consignment business agreement with Songwon University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation to operate the Children's Meal Management Support Center.
The agreement period is three years from January 2024 to December 2026, and the support targets are 26 children's meal facilities in the area with fewer than 100 children and no nutritionist, including daycare centers, local children's centers, Dahamkke Care Centers, youth cultural centers, and attached kindergartens.
Professional nutritionists will systematically support hygiene and nutrition management through on-site guidance for hygiene and nutrition management of children's meal facilities, consulting support for improving meal environments, and development and distribution of menus and cooking methods according to children's age groups, ensuring hygiene, safety, and nutrition management.
A county official said, "With the increase in women's social participation and changes in government policies, the utilization rate of childcare facilities by children is rising. We will continue to support various programs such as fostering proper eating habits and preventing picky eating among children."
On the 8th, Gokseong-gun, following the "Gokseong-gun Private Consignment Ordinance," reselected Songwon University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation with a total score of 97.6 after a review by the deliberation committee, and mutually agreed on an agreement covering the preparation and approval of business plans, execution of project funds, appointment and dismissal of the center director, accounting and auditing, and the effective date.
