Dong-Eui Science University Hair Beauty Department Holds LINC 3.0 Performance Expansion Workshop

The Department of Hair Beauty at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology (President Kim Young-do) held the ‘2023 Hair Beauty Department LINC 3.0 Performance Expansion Workshop’ on the 21st.

A total of 75 participants, including professors involved in the project, industry personnel, and current students, attended the workshop. Various best practices were shared to ensure successful project execution and performance expansion, including presentations of outstanding cases, award ceremonies for students’ competition achievements over the past year, operation of customized education programs with employment agreements, extracurricular course management, expansion of exchanges with excellent family companies, and operation of a standardized field training semester system.


At the event, certificates of commendation were awarded to outstanding students participating in the customized education programs with employment agreements from Park Seung-cheol Hair Studio, Lee Cheol Hair Kucker, and Pelia Hair. Additionally, award ceremonies were held for various beauty competitions won by students: Kim Chae-young and six others received the Grand Prix at the International Beauty Master Contest; Lee Si-hyun and sixteen others won the Grand Prize at the International Health & Beauty EXPO Competition; Han Na-young received the Busan Mayor’s Award at the 11th Private Skills Competition, while Kim Jae-han and fifteen others received the Labor Office Chief’s Award; and Kim Hee-yeon and three others won the Grand Prize at the Busan Mayor’s Cup University Capstone Beauty Competition.


This workshop focused on providing opportunities to effectively disseminate and expand the program’s achievements and to strengthen mutual cooperation by sharing diverse experiences and knowledge among participants, thereby diversifying the spread of LINC 3.0 project outcomes.


Kim Nam-hee, head of the Department of Hair Beauty, stated, “The achievements over the past year are the result of all members involved in the project working hard together,” adding, “We expect this to greatly help Hair Beauty students gain recognition in the beauty industry and build successful careers.”


The Department of Hair Beauty at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology is conducting various government-funded projects aimed at nurturing customized excellent talent demanded by local communities and industries, including the Innovation Support Project, LINC 3.0 Project, Regional Specialized College Revitalization Project, National Technical Qualification Project for Beautician (General) Course Evaluation, High-Skilled Work-Study Parallel System (P-Tech), and Work-Study Parallel System for Current Students.
