This donation was raised through the Labor Union Love Fund, formed by gathering the hearts of executives and employees, and the participation fees of members who took part in the Credit Union's cultural events. The Credit Union has been steadily practicing the sharing of educational opportunities through programs such as the ‘The-K Donation Support Project,’ ‘Support Project for Vulnerable Youth,’ and ‘Blue Lighthouse Donation Scholarship Project.’ In recognition of these efforts, it received the ‘2023 Government Scholarship Support Merit’ Minister of Education Commendation and the ‘2023 Affiliated Institution Merit’ Seoul Mayor Commendation.

Jung Gap-yoon, Chairman of the Korean Teachers' Credit Union, said, “We participated in the donation with the hope that marginalized neighbors can spend a warmer winter amid the continuously cold weather.” He added, “The Credit Union plans to continue leading sharing activities and fulfilling its social responsibilities.”
